On this course air pollution controlling mechanisms, main air pollutants, their removal processes and equipment are introduced. Regarding to characteristic types of pollutants practical skills will be obtained in recognizing and solving the industrial air pollution problems through practical examples. During the theoretical lectures and practical exercises students learn design and integration of dust sedimentation devices and flue gas purification systems in common industrial technologies. The course aims to intensify engineering skills and provide theoretical and practical knowledge in finding the best scenarios and analyzing consequences.
