Aim of the subject:

The course provides in-depth insight to the complex nature of environmental problems in local-regional-global scale. The course; on one hand highlights the main milestones of the international environmental cooperation with special attention to the various permanent challenges which the community faces, on the other hand evaluates the efficiency of the international environmental cooperation. The course aims introducing the historical development of the Environment Policy in the European Union, representing its elements and changing instruments and the process of environmental law-harmonization.
