Aim of the subject:
The course aims to provide knowledge about the theoretical background of environmental valuation, the reasons for the special approach of environmental valuation and the methods available. The students gain knowledge about the classification of valuation methods, the steps of application of each method, as well as their advantages and limitation. The students will learn why it is important to manage environmental risk in a complex way, the social aspects of risk management and various approaches and the steps of cyclic risk management.
