History of Architecture in Hungary

The course gives an overview of the main tendencies in architecture of historic Hungary. The main approach of the subject will on one hand focus of the inherent development of architecture in this region explained in a chronological order and it will refer to the main streams of architecture in Central and Western Europe on the other. The discussed period spans between the beginnings of architecture in the Carpathian basin and the beginning of the 20th century.
